What is included in the engine

The engine is delivered as a long block: a bare engine without the sump, turbo, injectors and EGR. The sump and ancillaries are transferred from your old engine during installation. Timing drive and gears according to the engine family's specification, see the list below.

Your workshop transfers the parts during installation. Check the turbo and injectors before they are reused, it is a condition of the warranty.

Final inspection

Every engine goes through a final inspection in our workshop in Tyresö: we check the engine, the packaging and the documentation. You get an engine that has been through our hands.

The engine is built to order and quality assured to Meksta's standard.

Good to know before you order

The right engine, guaranteed

The same engine code can exist in several versions, and the wrong version is an expensive mistake. That is why we verify the exact engine version against your VIN or reg number before the build starts. You can order directly, we check your VIN after purchase and the build only starts once the version is confirmed. Until then you can cancel free of charge.

Core deposit: 8 500 kr

Exchange engine means your old engine is handed over in exchange. The deposit is added at purchase and refunded in full once your old engine has reached us and been approved. The requirement is that the block is intact: no holes, no cracks, no broken-off pieces. You arrange the transport of your old engine yourself and send it in within 30 days of delivery.

Built to order, build time approx. 1 week

We do not pretend to have stock. Your engine is built to order, quality assured to Meksta's standard and goes through a final inspection in Tyresö. Build time normally approx. 1 week from when your engine version is verified, up to 2 weeks during high workload, then delivery on a pallet or pickup with us in Tyresö.

12 month warranty with no mileage limit

The warranty covers the engine and includes an installation warranty: if a warranty fault is confirmed on the engine, the installation work is also compensated under the warranty terms. Faults caused by incorrect installation or by reused ancillary components are not covered. Read more about warranty and statutory rights
