2. Quote and order
- Quotes are non-binding for the customer. You are only charged for disassembly if you choose not to proceed with the quote.
- A quote is valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are stated excluding VAT (25%) unless otherwise indicated.
- An order is binding once the customer has approved the quote in writing, by email, form or through our order confirmation.
- If additional work or costs are discovered during an ongoing job, we contact the customer for approval before continuing. No additional work is carried out without the customer's written approval.
3. Delivery and transport
- Estimated delivery times are indicative and not binding. We inform you of delays as soon as we are aware of them.
- Most customers ship the engine or part to us by post and have the finished part shipped back. Dropping it off at our workshop in Tyresö is also possible. Contact us for more information.
- The customer is responsible for goods being correctly packaged for transport to Meksta. Meksta is not liable for damage arising from inadequate packaging.
- Risk for the goods passes to the customer on delivery or collection.
4. Price and payment
- Prices are based on the confirmed quote. If the scope of work changes, the price is adjusted in consultation with the customer and documented in writing.
- Payment terms: net 10 days from the invoice date.
- In the event of late payment, default interest and a reminder fee are charged in accordance with applicable law.
- Meksta reserves the right to require advance payment when ordering special parts or for a new customer relationship.
5. Right of withdrawal
- Private individuals who order goods via the website have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of receipt under applicable distance selling law.
- The right of withdrawal does not apply to services already started with the customer's consent, or to goods manufactured or adapted to the customer's specifications.
- To exercise the right of withdrawal, contact us in writing at info@meksta.se before the withdrawal period expires.
6. Warranties
Meksta provides a warranty on the work performed. Warranty periods vary depending on the type of work. Full warranty terms, including conditions and exclusions, are available on our warranty page.

- Send a written complaint to info@meksta.se with the order number, a description of the symptom and, ideally, photos or fault codes.
- Meksta assesses the case and may request further information or inspection of the unit.

- For an approved complaint, Meksta puts the fault right at no extra cost. The warranty runs on to its original end date.
A complaint must be made promptly and no later than within the warranty period.
